St. George's Food Pantry i"feed the hungry" program sponsored by St. George's Parish is staffed by Volunteers from the Parish and the Community, including some who are Participants in the program.

Presently, the Food Pantry is open twice a month on Wednesdays. Please help out by becoming a Food Pantry Supporter or a Food Pantry Volunteer! Youth & Retirees are most especially welcomed!

Food Pantry - Volunteer Schedule

(Open Every other Wednesday - Times are Approximated)

8:00 AM - Meet at St. George's Parking Lot
8:10 AM - Leave for the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley to load up trucks.
9:30 AM - Return to St. George's Hall & unloading
10:00 AM - Sorting Foods by Types; Food on Shelves & into Family-sized boxes
12:00 Noon - Lunch Break
1:00 PM - Food Pantry Open for Participant Pick-Ups
3:00 PM - Food Pantry Closes - Clean Up of Hall & Grounds
