For the second year, we have collected icons, vestments and other Orthodox liturgical items to personally deliver to Bishop Alejo, Auxiliary Bishop of Mexico, for distribution and use in financially-challenged Orthodox Missions developing throughout Mexico. This project continues to depend upon donations of icons, other items and financial contributions from Parishes and people like you.

During the Theophany season last year, we took three boxes of icons to Mexico City. This year, over twenty five boxes of icons, vestments and more were gratefully received by Bishop Alejo and visiting hierarchs, Metropolitan Herman and Archbishop Dmitri, the Exarch of Mexico.  Last year, my daughters and I were able to take the boxes as extra luggage and travel by bus. This year, we transported the delivery in our pick up truck. In addition, we plan a second delivery this year during the summer. It is a blessing to help share Orthodox Christianity in Mexico in this small way.
